What is Indoor Cycling?
Indoor cycling is an exercise program
that uses a specially designed
stationary bike and a series of cycling movements that provide you
with both a physical and mental workout. The indoor
cycling bike, designed to mimic an outdoor bicycle ride, has an
adjustable bike seat, fixed gear-racing handlebars, and pedals
equipped with both shoe clips and cages. You can change the workout
intensity by adjusting a resistance knob on the bike.
During each class, upbeat music and enthusiastic coaching
by the instructor challenge and motivate you to work hard
-- while having fun -- in order to reach individualized fitness goals.
